The Choir Project al día [23-XI-2013]

BBC Sacred Music [II]: III. Górecki and Pärt.
The Sixteen - Harry Christophers.
A choral history on video.

BBC is, probably, the best national broadcasting company in the world. British are able to put all their technical quality and talent at the service of culture and music.
This is one of the most fantastic examples of this. "Sacred Music BBC Series" is a wonderful journey through the history of choral music from the Middle Ages to our days. The Sixteen put to the service of this company his musical knowledge and high choral quality.

This is the second series, which continues the previous four chapters until our days. The third episode is dedicated to two of the greatest composers of choral music of the twentieth century in Poland and Estonia:Henryk Mikołaj Górecki and Arvo Pärt. Their music is one of the most expressive and spiritual in this century. Wonderful music, beyond all doubt.

  Enjoy choral music!
