The Choir Project al día [18-VIII-2013]

Music and Monarchy: Revolutions.
BBC again -and forever.

Really amazing BBC documentary presented by David Starkey, focused on music and English and political use of the hand of the monarchy.
As usual with BBC Could programs, the quality of the content is outstanding, and the music used, in fantástic performances by some of the more specialized English ensembles, is one of the best never composed.

This second episode is dedicated to early and medieum baroque masters: Orlando Gibbons, William Lawes, Thomas Tomkins and especially Henry Purcell. Great music and fantastic performances.
Enjoy it!
